In honor of Earth Day this week, I'm here to share with you this sweet children's book, 3 Pandas Planting by Megan Halsey.
This delightful book provides the perfect introduction to conservation for preschoolers and early elementary aged children. I've been reading it with my three this week, and we've had some good conversations as a result.
My kids also went wild over these cool coloring sheets and games available for free download from Megan--an excellent Earth Day activity for your little ones.
From the 3 Pandas Planting website:
"Published by Marshall Cavendish, on recycled paper, 3 Pandas Planting is a fun, earth-loving and user-friendly book for all ages!
Carpooling crocodiles, litter-collecting condors, newspaper-bundling bears, and other earth-friendly animals show how small, everyday actions can make a BIG difference in taking care of the earth.Originally published by Bradbury Press in 1994, this new paperback edition contains updated backmatter with environmental/recycling tips. Perfect for Earth Day and everyday, fun web-links are included for children and parents to learn more about doing good things for the earth."
And today Megan is giving away copies of her book to four lucky Steady Mom winners!
