And does anyone else need a little virtual accountability these days?
Recently I finished reading The Happiness Project and The Power of Less
, and both got me thinking about the importance of habits. Leo Babauta writes that often our good intentions fail because we try to change too much at once.
So I've been working on developing one new habit each month.
In April I made a resolution to get dressed and ready for the day before checking my email. A small thing, but it's actually made a big difference to the start of our days.
Care to join me in choosing a habit of your own for the month of May?
This month my resolution is to get up at 6:45 am each weekday. (For all you 5 am risers, stop laughing!)
I've had a little sweet soul on my bedroom floor for the past year, who has prevented me from rising early. But now he's moved in with his brother, and I think a few extra minutes would bring a little more peace to our day.
So my resolution is out there (for better or for worse). If you're so inclined, feel free to choose your own and share in the comments.
Virtual accountability--we can stick together on this one!
See you back here tomorrow for the Moms' 30-Minute Blog Challenge. (I'll be leaving the linky open longer, in response to your comments.)
