Just a quick post today - I'm in the midst of birthday preparations for Jonathan's party, which starts in a few hours. (Oh, make that two hours! Wow, better get busy...) My goal today: maintaining a calm atmosphere and not allowing any party stress to infiltrate our home.
I'm just enjoying the wonder of a beautiful five-year-old boy in our family.
So I thought you guys could "talk amongst yourselves" today:
Those of you mothers of older children (preschool and up) have likely heard your little ones utter the words in this post's title. Mamas out there with babies and toddlers also sense when your children are frightened. Maybe it's the common fear of the dark or perhaps the fear of trying something new.
How do you help your children deal with and overcome fear?
I know I find it helpful to read what other moms have done. It's always comforting to know we are going through similar stages with our children.
So please contribute to the conversation in the comments, and I'll be back tomorrow!
