Hi everyone. I wanted to take a minute to say thanks to my subscribers, old and new. It's amazing to me that so many of you care to journey along regularly with our family and find a little inspiration here. Thank you so much.
It's my goal, in every area of life, to be an advocate for children. That's what I try to accomplish here at Steady Mom, what led us to international adoption, and why our family works toward the abolition of child sex trafficking with Love146.
I hope this venue encourages mothers to give our best to the amazing little people in our lives, during this brief time we share with them. I also aim to present a realistic view of motherhood, with both its highs and lows. I want you to go away thinking, "If Jamie can do this, I can, too!"
If these goals resonate with you, and if you think the information here can benefit others, I'd love to ask you to spread the word to those in your network who may be in need of some practical mothering inspiration.
Gandhi said, "Whatever you do may seem insignificant, but it is important that you do it." And so I'm trying to offer all I can in this virtual community.
My motivation is not that others think about me (I'm actually freakishly uncomfortable at the center of attention), but that more children can have a peaceful, joy-filled place to call home - and can grow up to bring positive change to our world.
Thanks for being a part of Steady Mom. I'm really enjoying being on the journey toward intentional, professional motherhood with you all.
