Did you know how happy you can make a child by spending 33 cents? Amazing!
The trick is to keep expectations low. Our kids rarely have candy, which is why a small box of tacky heart-shaped delicacies were met with expressions of excitement and wonder.
We had fun reading each candy's message, but I was a bit confused by one that said "Fax Me." Is this some kind of innuendo I'm not familiar with, or just a candy about a decade out of date?
Responses welcome. Fax me to let me know what you think...
(Papa, visiting from England, was horrified to discover what ingredients they put in these American candies...)
