A note from Jamie: I wanted to ask a favor of those who have already read the new book. Would you please consider leaving an honest review on Amazon? It would be helpful, thank you!
Are you living a good story?
Are there parts of your story you'd rather forget--shut away and keep locked tight? Anytime we tell our story, we take a great risk. That's why it feels so vulnerable to do so.
No matter where we share--with a friend or on a blog, with our family or with the world--we risk when we unlock the box and allow others in.
In Mindset for Moms, I tell stories never before shared publicly--of our attempt to add a 4th child to our family, of the jealousy I've wrestled with within the blogging world, of the deaths of three family members within two months. To name a few.
It wasn't comfortable to write these stories, but it was important.
You see, a story isn't a story until it is both lived and told. Spread. Put out there. It's the sharing of a story that gives it power.
Your story is your message--and there is someone who needs to hear it.
